• To get a better assessment of the quality of the drinking water supplied to different parts of the capital, a holistic and real-time monitoring system is being planned by Delhi Jal Board (DJB). 

• The water quality monitoring system will be based on artificial intelligence. 

• Advantages: 

   1. By only entering the pin code of any particular area, a resident will be able to see the water quality index at the source, after treatment and inside the underground reservoir. 

  2. DJB officials can generate accurate reports about the quality of water. 

   3. It would help the officials check contamination quickly and manage water supply better.
