This is to screen and place 75 million people with hypertension and diabetes under standard care by 2025.  According to V.K. Paul, Member (Health), NITI Aayog, non-communicable diseases must be fought at the primary healthcare level.  1.5 lakh health and wellness centers were created and tele medicine and digital health services were operationalized to fight against non-communicable diseases.
