It demonstrated that influencers' engagement in developing and implementing vaccination strategies helped reduce misunderstandings and mistrust regarding COVID-19 vaccinations.
Vaccination models developed through stakeholder engagement increased COVID-19 vaccine uptake among prioritized groups in supported regions of Uganda.
Using the existing public health platforms and community social structures in emergency response efforts can reinforce health systems’ resilience to future pandemics.
