Countries report new Polio Cases: Updates from global polio eradication initiative

Pakistan has reported 49 Polio cases this year, one of which was a wild poliovirus type 1 case in September.
Chad reports 20 Polio cases this year, and 5 circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) cases were detected this week.
Nigeria reports 81 annual Polio cases.
Poland reported an environmental sample of cVDPV2 with no evidence of local transmission.
