From June 21st to October 4th, 2024, the campaign aims to raise awareness about critical women-centric issues.
It will focus on amplifying awareness and outreach on women's empowerment through nationwide enrollment drives and educational sessions.
Minister Savitri Thakur highlighted successful government programs, which are critical tools in achieving this goal of women's empowerment.
These include:
Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana
PM Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission
Poshan Abhiyaan
Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM)
The MWCD is training local workers from its SANKALP program, which operates in 693 districts, to deliver services and information to women effectively.
