World’s first intranasal vaccine iNCOVACC, by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech will be rolled out as a booster dose for those aged 18 and above from the fourth week of January. 

This vaccine against the novel coronavirus to receive approval for the primary two-dose schedule and also as a heterologous booster dose. 

The Union government partially financed its development and clinical trials through the COVID Suraksha Programme of the Department of Biotechnology.
