  • Hyderabad’s AIG Hospital, in collaboration with ISB, has developed a groundbreaking AI tool that detects fatty liver disease with 95-96% accuracy using routine biomarkers (CBC, LFT, HbA1c, Lipid Profile) and anthropometric indices (BMI, waist circumference).

  • Slashing screening costs from ₹5,000 to ₹500, the tool predicts both fat accumulation (steatosis) and liver scarring (fibrosis), which traditionally requires expensive liver elastography.

  • Internally validated on 10,000+ patients, it addresses a critical need - studies suggest nearly 38% of Indians may have fatty liver, a silent epidemic linked to diabetes and heart disease.

  • This tool is currently being deployed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
